Introduction
We are looking for an insightful, detail-oriented, team-oriented mechanical engineer. You will be responsible for providing technical knowledge about the company's product lines, detailed modeling of robotic systems using Solidworks, improving current designs / processes and much more. You should be a practical person, with your sleeves rolled up in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will mainly be in hardware design, technical design, machine assembly and a variety of other systems, functions which also require the following:

Ability to design and implement solutions from start to finish.

Provide technical supervision for robot service and production teams when necessary.

Evaluate solutions to a set of problems.

Assist in the design of test and execution methods.

Use and maintain various hand tools, measuring tools and other precision testing equipment.

Comply with all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by the supervisor.

Assist the team by conducting problem analysis as needed and taking corrective action.

Creation / development of tools and accessories needed for assembling robots.

Support production line performance and determine steps necessary to achieve optimal line efficiency and product quality.

Assist production engineers in data collection, preparation and analysis, development and maintenance of reports and line configuration changes.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Engineering or Design Engineering

3 to 5 years of experience in similar fields

Experience in Solidworks or related design software

Excellent communication and organization skills

Strong notions of geometry and product design

Production and assembly skill set
-
Solid foundation for process improvement with a focus on data accuracy
