Mechanical Engineer

Introduction

We are looking for an insightful, detail-oriented, team-oriented mechanical engineer. You will be responsible for providing technical knowledge about the company's product lines, detailed modeling of robotic systems using Solidworks, improving current designs / processes and much more. You should be a practical person, with your sleeves rolled up in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will mainly be in hardware design, technical design, machine assembly and a variety of other systems, functions which also require the following:

 

  • Ability to design and implement solutions from start to finish.

  • Provide technical supervision for robot service and production teams when necessary.

  • Evaluate solutions to a set of problems.

  • Assist in the design of test and execution methods.

  • Use and maintain various hand tools, measuring tools and other precision testing equipment.

  • Comply with all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by the supervisor.

  • Assist the team by conducting problem analysis as needed and taking corrective action.

  • Creation / development of tools and accessories needed for assembling robots.

  • Support production line performance and determine steps necessary to achieve optimal line efficiency and product quality.

  • Assist production engineers in data collection, preparation and analysis, development and maintenance of reports and line configuration changes.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Engineering or Design Engineering

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in similar fields

  • Experience in Solidworks or related design software

  • Excellent communication and organization skills

  • Strong notions of geometry and product design

  • Production and assembly skill set

  • Solid foundation for process improvement with a focus on data accuracy
